Beautiful property. Pool nice and cool in hot weather. Breakfast generous portions, and can be made vegetarian (the fried eggs are cooked perfectly). Customer service excellent. My sister reported a problem with her air con and it was fixed the same day. Can call taxis for guests to airports at reasonable price. 10min walk from BTS. Many good restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

This was a beautiful hotel and a great location. It was within walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores and grocers. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. My only wishes would be next time they replace seating, to upgrade to a better quality. The quality of sofa and bench cushion really didn’t fit with the quality of the rest of the room or hotel - it was uncomfortable and something I would expect to see at a discount furniture store. Still, this was a top hotel throughout my trip to Thailand. I would absolutely stay again.

Baan Vajra was a delightful surprise! The hotel is refreshingly decorated with a nice-kept backyard (a rare gem in the city). The staff, especially Marcus, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available with a recommendation or a smile, making my stay truly enjoyable.The food at the hotel was delicious, authentically Thai. The coffee in the mornings was absolutely amazing, the best I tasted in the city and the perfect fuel for exploring the vibrant city of Bangkok. At the Holiday Inn hotel lobby nearby, we bought tours and other activities from their guides. Highly recommend Baan Vajra for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, in the city center, with fantastic service and delicious food.

This is such a charming little boutique hotel located within the gem district and an easy five minute walk from the river. There are fantastic dining options within a three minute radius from the hotel and, for early birds like me, a Starbuck’s coffee shop that opens at 0600 for the first cup of the day. There are also many interesting curiosity, antique, and gym shops within a ten minute walking radius of the hotel. We stayed in the Colonial Suite and it was charmingly furnished. Everything is immaculate and the staff is great! We will definitely return in the future!

Great location. Quality and cleanliness of the rooms were great! All Kohler fixtures, bed and linens were comfortable. The owner is very hands on which is nice. Very efficient and helpful though lacking the genuine warmth you would expect from an owner of the property. But overall the property is very lovely. The breakfast is fantastic. Definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

This property is well located on a quiet road within walking distance to many restaurants and street food stalls. About a 7 minute walk to BTS Surasak and 10 minute walk to Phaya river. Overall, this old mansion was soundproof with a beautiful renovated bathroom. Staff were very accommodating and would definitely stay there for future travels.

Great couple of days in Bangkok staying at the Baan Vajra. Check-in was smooth with no problems. Accomodation is very good for silom area and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay locally.

Charming hotel with lots of character in a fantastic location. Bed was incredibly comfortable and room had everything you could need. One thing to note is that light sleepers may prefer a contemporary room in the newer building rather than a colonial room in the main (original) building as there isnt much sound proofing. The floors are original wood which is gorgeous but the sound travels.

Unique boutique hotel
Very nice stay, despite being in the heart of Silom, it's very quiet. The hotel is an older style and the owners do their best to keep it that way, so very unique for Bangkok. Room was clean and the staff were wonderful. Really enjoyed staying here.

Baan Vajra is a beautifully kept, historical building which has been lovingly turned into a gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms are excellent. Extremely comfortable beds, pristine bedding and excellent air conditioning. It’s a true escape. An oasis in the midst of a frenetic, crazy city. I will certainly return in the future.

This is a little gem in the middle of silom. I love coming every time I visit bangkok. The breakfast is great. I highly recommend getting breakfast.

From the photo's and other reviews I was expecting much better. It's nice but pretty basic, and definitely a 3 star. Rooms smelled as shower floor and drain is covered by wooden planks leaving below and the drain damp and with mildew ?? Breakfast was basically cereal and toast for 200 Baht. I never bothered to ask for the egg a day in advance. Instead I went to the Silom 222 for a full breakfast buffet for 100 Baht more. It was fine but did't live up the other reviews and beautiful photos. For the price there are much better and comfortable options.

Best Kept Secret...
If you would like to stay in the city, but feel as if you're in a secluded BnB, this is the place. The room was fabulous, the bed very comfortable, & the service spectacular. I will be staying here again in the future!

Very peaceful and cozy hotel. There are an atmosphere of traditional tastes. The room is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and sparkling clean. The staffs were wiling to provide any necessary support and made us very comfortable. Definitely coming back next time!!!

Excellent Spot in Silom
I loved my stay at Baan Vajra, the property is charming and is very unique for the area--a nice little getaway in the middle of Silom. All staff were welcoming, helpful and warm. I can't wait to stay there again soon!

Very noisy place, our room was right in front of the street, holes everywhere between the doors, I was a bit upset about my booking as the Colonial Suite looked more like a deluxe room, nothing special really, and not really big. People at the réception were ok, but not really helpfull. Swimming pool was closed, due to work on it, no compensations for that.... Glad that I took only 2 nights, as I had much much better for the same value elsewhere in Bangkok. I wont come back thats for sure...

조용한 호텔입니다.
프라이빗 스위트를 이용했습니다. 조용하고, 클래식한 룸이 멋집니다. 여유롭게 쉬기 좋으며 근처에 작은 가게들도 많습니다. 조식은 메뉴선택이 가능하며, 맛있었습니다. 예상보다는 좁은 편이나 한두명이 묵기엔 충분합니다. 벌레가 딱히 눈에 띄진 않지만 아주 작은 벌레시체가 몇몇 있었습니다. 화장실 바닥 청소상태가 살짝 아쉬웠습니다. 수영장은 수질상태가 별로 좋지않아보여 이용하진 않았습니다. 조금 더 프라이빗한 숙박을 위해 예약했던 방이었는데, 같은 호텔 옆건물과 창문이 가깝고 발코니가 호텔 입구 정면을 마주보고 있어 생각보다 프라이빗한 느낌은 받지 못했습니다.

We spent our last evening in this wonderful property and it was a perfect stay. The staff was lovely, the room was equipped with everything we needed and the central location meant that we could move around easily. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Although we checked out early, the staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage at reception and make use of the amenities before our flight. Great stay!
