"We did not have time to fully explore the property, but when we arrived the front desk staff was incredible and the guests just "hanging out" in the courtyard made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms are large and charming, if not a bit bland. The water pressure left me wanting. I was thrilled with the clean fluffy towels and the morning danish. Pour over coffee was a treat but please, spare a little conditioner for those with lovely locks?"

"The landsby is a lovely hotel. Well located. Nicely refurbed rooms with a bit of danish chic (rather thsn hygge). Staff nice but didn’t tell us about amenities. We didn’t know there was a pool when we might have used it. Restaurant decent to good. Sone starter portions were ridiculously large (not a bad thing) Waiters and bar staff could have talked a better game on the wine options."

"I absolutely fell in LOVE with the property, not only was it gorgeous, but the service provided by all staff— from the wonderful ladies at the welcome area and the spa, to THEE AMAZING Anthony et al. at Tavern, and the lovely room service staff + housekeepers + gardeners who keep the property immaculate— everyone was absolutely a pleasure to interact with, and they created an immensely beautiful birthday experience for me. The food and drinks were also *Chef’s Kiss*. I have no words for the deliciousness that was consistently served during my stay— everything I ate and drank was DIVINE! I am forever grateful for the beauty that was extended during my celebration of life, and I look forward to returning for another dose of bliss in the future. Thank you so much for creating so much joy during my stay !!!!!!!!"

"We went for a long weekend to see the San Julian ranch and decided to stay close by. The Ballard Inn looked like a good choice, and it didn’t disappoint! Very quaint, B&B-style small hotel with really well done, large rooms. We had the Equestrian room, which was extremely cute. (There are no TVs or refrigerators, though- be forewarned!). Daily breakfast was a nice bonus. They even have a daily hot breakfast item, as well as afternoon wine and cheese! Overall, an excellent stay. It’s close to Los Olivos, Solvang, and many wineries. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll go back to the Ballard Inn!"
