"My daughter wanted to stay in a castle but the prices didn't match our budget. I found this hotel and it was the best for both of us. The hotel is beautiful and the beds are soft and comfortable. Only downside, which would have made me reconsider staying there, is that it is a 20 minute taxi ride from city center. As much as I enjoyed the hotel, for the quick time I had in Dublin, I would have preferred to be closer."

"It was a great basic stay during our layover. The room was quiet even for being so close to the airport. We walked over before we knew there was a shuttle. Our bathroom was a little cramped and awkward but it was mostly a great stay."

"We were very pleased with our stay at the Ashling hotel. Everything was very clean, the bed was particularly comfortable, and the towels were luxuriously thick. Their breakfast buffet had many delicious choices and there was even free ice cream available in the lobby. My only complaint was with the low capacity flushing of the toilet. I don’t think any water was saved when multiple flushing was required."

But the room was not clean there was wine stains on the carpet and the bed side tables looked like they hadn't been wiped in a long time.. also no WiFi did not work in our room. And the shower unit was coming away from the wall."

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. The location was close to bus routes to all of Dublin and train transportation (Connolly Station) to the rest of Ireland."
