"Communication was great with the owners/managers. Olga was exceptionally helpful. Our room, however, was not pleasant. No hot water in the kitchen. No hot water in the bathroom sink plus faucet handle fell off. No shower curtain until we asked for it. Broken toilet roll holder. Handwritten notes asking for maid tip (no service ever) and also to take care of trash (no bags provided), Mop bucket left in room with mop in it. My sister got locked in her room as the door lock jammed. Freezing room....

"The perfect place to stay in San Miguel de Allende! The loft is so comfortable with any amenity and so much space, tucked away in a great location, so accessible to anything you’d want to do in the city. The bedroom’s AC kept us cool. The kitchen was really well stocked with many cooking utensils, pots, and pans. The loft was true to photos. "Peaceful and relaxing. On edge of town in quiet neighborhood, next to lake. The proprietor Carlos speaks fluent English which was very helpful for a gringo on his first week in Mexico. The one potential downside, which I actually learned to see as a positive, is it takes 10-15 minutes over very slow bumpy cobblestone streets to reach the property. Take a kayak out on the lake!"
