"The only downside to the hotel is the lack of parking. Whilst you can pre-book reserved parking at the railway station it's a 5 minute walk away, so not ideal with luggage, particularly if it's raining. "The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. The food wasn’t as good as our previous stays the restaurant was a little slow and our food was on the cold side but the charming staff made up for it.
