"Hotel is located in the middle of historic Salzburg, very convenient with walking distance to everything. Nice modern, clean place to stay. City parking garage is nearby with 40 EU/24 hours."
"Extremely disappointed with my stay. It's such a shame because the actual hotel is in a good location and clean but the staff is super unprofessional and the amenities were poor. I've never been more embarrassed in my life, the women during check in was so unprofessional and rude, she spoke to me like I was a 2 year old and was argumentative (I have never experienced this at any hotel I've stayed at in the world). She should not be in a customer service facing role, I was actually in tears from how rude she was. I had 2 rooms booked and one of the rooms had no running water for the first few hours because of on going construction (which meant no use of the bathroom or shower). In the same room, the safe was locked, we kindly asked reception to unlock it so that we could use it, they said they'd be up in a few minutes, we waited an hour and still no one came. When we returned to the room later at night, it was still locked, the staff would say "we'll be up in a few minutes" and wouldn't come up. Finally, the night staff came and fixed it. The safe in my room ALSO had issues, it wouldn't UNLOCK even with the right code, so once again we had to chase up reception to come and unlock it. My hotel room key on the second day also stopped working, so again, back to reception to resolve. Trust me, it's not very pleasant kindly asking for help when you can feel the tension from the staff disliking you and hating their jobs. Put a damper on our whole trip. "
"A great location beside the train station and a short walk into the heart of Salzburg. Good value for the price. The room was quite worn but still comfortable."
"The room itself was nice and clean with comfortable sitting areas near the lobby. However, luggage storage was unlocked and unmanned. Any person could have walked right into the hotel and taken your luggage with no staff member seeing. As a solo female traveler, I should have payed more attention to the fact that this hotel is unstaffed at night, too."
