"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"Clean comfortable guest house. Note it has a shared bathroom and toilets . Plenty of facilities kettle and tea in room and kitchen. Shared use of full kitchen. It was the days of the heatwave so uncomfortable only because of that. Bed very comfortable clean linen and towels. All guests were very in tune with quiet period 10 pm to 8 am. I was aid for street parking through guest house arrived early and managed to park directly outside."

"I booked in for one night to go to a local event. The room was clean enough for an overnight stay. The staff left a fan in the room which was handy with how warm the night time was. Parking was on the road outside which was safe enough."

"My room was maybe 6ft x 4ft. Bathroom was small. No where store stuff. No water pressure in shower cause building is old. Only good thing was across street from stadium."

"The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey."

"We had to walk up thirty stairs to the top room which was claustrophobic and the bed was very high. The toilet system was very loud. My partner couldn’t get into the shower as she is on the large size and struggled with the stairs which did not have a proper banister. We checked out two days early as she couldn’t cope with the stairs and the room and we are awaiting a refund for those two days."

"Room was extremely hot but uk was having a heat wave no fan. Noise from the road with windows open. Small compacted room for single travellers. I think there's damp / mold behind the wall paper. By the bed wall paper peeling could see black mole, also near window. This was a one night stay and Cardiff was busy. I feel the room be cheaper, but your probably paying for location. I wouldn't stay again as there are bigger better places with breakfast available if i had booked earlier."
