"Great place to stay and relax.Only 50 min from Bath. Hotel has all you need,quiet,green area,lovely garden with tables and chairs to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Hotel offers breakfast but quite pricey for what you get on a plate... Other than that,highly recommended "

"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "

"Couldn't fault it!"

"Very good stay. Very nice well appointed room. Couple of small points. For breakfast the cooked food was excellent but thought there could be a bit more in the buffet e.g. fruit/pastries. Also our room was right above the out of hours entrance so there can be some noise from people returning late plus deliveries take place right outside the room so we had the pleasure of a noisy beer delivery around 7am. We ate in the restaurant one night and food and service were very good."

"I had a fantastic stay at The Churchill in Swindon. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—especially the beds. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with free parking and a great pub and grill next door. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable visit"

"Excellent food, comfortable beds, and clean rooms. They were having a prom event when we arrived and it made parking a nightmare. The kids liked the pool, and I found the workout room to be more than adequate. "

"We were on ground floor by courtyard when we got there thought it would be a noise problem as people drinking out there in sunny weather. However on both nights all gone by 10. Staff very helpful, food good, would use again. food good would use again "

"Really nice hotel. But a bit of a pain to get to from the railway station with all the road and regeneration work going on. Why whoever is doing the work do not open the pavement area up at weekends is beyond me. No one working. But having to go out of the way to get to the hotel. But that’s not the hotel’s fault. "

"The Landsdowne is a delightful boutique hotel of historic significance that is welcoming and in the heart of town centre. Hannah was informative and helpful - always there to answer questions and make sure service was on point. The dining was superb! We will definitely return when in Calne. "
