"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"Dated requiring refurbishment also when we opened bedroom there was loads of birds droppings on the corner of the window cill because there was a house Martin or swallow had been nesting therefor had to close window and get no fresh air. "Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."

I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work.
