Hotel is located right in Auckland CBD and so easy to get around. The Public Transport is very good, also the ferries which take you across the harbour to nearby islands and towns which are beautiful and have tracks to walk, great views and good shopping. Plenty of Cafe's & Eateries. Well worth the time.

Firstly, this is great value for money if you look at the location alone. It is walking distanace from everything in the CBD. Our room was clean, and I could not find any faults with that. The room is a bit outdated, in that it looks and feels old. But it had everything we needed. There were some damages to the walls that were poorly fixed. Our room/apartment was right in fornt of the lift, and next to the stairs, so it was a bit noisy, all hours of the night. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't get a chance to check out the shared space downstairs, so I can't comment on that. I will definetely stay there again if all I'm looking for is a place to sleep for a night.

Not the fault of the property just inconsiderate patrons with children who arrived at 2.30am and let them run up and down the hallway and all were talking very loudly and letting doors bang. Most annoying. Complained to the desk in the morning but luckily they were only there for 1 day. The beds are very comfortable. I would advise booking one of the upper floors so nobody is above you as it can be quite noisy.
