"The Motel is being renovated and the rooms are nice. The only thing we didnโt like was like many motels that have two or more floors, they have no elevator. Everything else was just great! Out room had the tile floors that looked like wood and smelled like a new home. We will be staying there on our return trip"

"The staff are very friendly & helpful. The wait staff were excellent as well as all of the meals we ordered. The riverside Atmosphere canโt be beat. Our only real complaint was the walk between the lodge & our cabin, A2. The stone steps are uneven and dangerous. I slipped once and fell but caught myself in time to break the fall. We were passengers as we rode with our friends and had to walk to and from the cabin. We know it is a historic lodge and they want to maintain that but safety is also important."

There is truly nothing for miles, but with all the amenities and restaurants on property, you have everything you need!! "There are no 'grounds' to the property. It sits at the corner of an intersection, but was amazingly quiet. The front desk staff was nice. The room was clean but did have an odd smell, and I kept smelling cigarettes on and off even though the property is smoke free. The bed was OK. The bathroom fan was non existent. Breakfast was great. Vending machines were half empty. Location was good. It seemed expensive honestly. I don't know if I'd stay here again."
