"The Thon Hotel Opera has a fantastic location. It’s right next to the train station so it’s easy to get to the airport by train. It’s easy to walk to so many attractions or to take public transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast is fantastic! Would return the next time we’re in Oslo!"

"The room was crowded by the double bed and a bit unique being right off the stairwell, but I liked the high ceilings and the bathroom was a decent size. Having both breakfast and dinner included was a nice perk, and there were good selections available on the buffets for each. The hotel is in an older building in a neighborhood setting which is nice, and it's within walking distance of the Vigeland Park. While I was there, though, the street in front of the hotel was all torn up with some kind...

"This was a very nice hotel and the most spacious room with a kitchette. Love the black outs on the windows and the ability to fully open the windows for airflow. Best part is that the room had a small fan!!!"

"Good location, a stone throw away from Oslo Sentral. The breakfast was sumptuous with lots of variety. It was a weekend and too many occupants in the hotel, so we were given 50 minutes for the breakfast only, otherwise I could spend two hours eating. The next day we have a early train to catch, the hotel is very considerate to prepare mini buffet breakfast from 430am for the early birds."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The location is ideal. It is right in the center of everything. Walkable to all the main attractions. The staff is quick to help in every way they can and did. We highly recommend this hotel to anybody going to Oslo. You will not be disappointed!"

"Our stay was actually fabulous. We were able to check in at 11:30 and the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent and friendly. Location was 2 streets from the waterfront and only 4-5 from the royal palace. 4 blocks from the direct train to the airport. We will stay here again next visit. And it was $142 for the night for 2 including a great breakfast buffet. "

"Location is fantastic. 9* The room size is small clean which is alright. Noisy external tram / train noise. Later midngt, young guys with loud music hanging around. At 3am next door room had late ngts screaming laughing. Hard to sleep."

Basic, clean close to Oslo S hotel could be noisy7

"It is a basic clean hotel. The concept is efficiently operated. 24/7 in house staff to address the needs. The location to Oslo s is only a mere 3min walk. Citybox oslo is kind enough to change my room facing noisy trams line. Subsequently, my room was facing void courtyard where i could hear chinese couple quarrel.at 4am, loud hp music, talkg till late at night from nearby windows and also my opp room. Depending on your luck, it could be pleasant. Pantry is available at ground floor."
