Location was great, food choices in and out of hotel excellent. Staff most responsive and rooms clean. We stayed three nights and would stay again. Excellent value.

I stayed in two different rooms in my time here as I was meeting relatives that was over from Ireland, and also staying in the hotel, the first room was a lot bigger with a bath than the second that just had a shower. I did notice that the room could have done with some complimentary bottles of water and some better tea and coffee options, something I have noticed that hotels of the same price includes. The staff was always polite and helpful but was a little annoyed how we was asked to leave the bar at 10pm on a Thursday evening and thus no real alternative even tho it mentions a residents bar, know one actually knows anything about it, I didn’t personally have any food in the hotel, I ventured over the road to ash tree farm for breakfast and carvery and also TGI Fridays on an occasion, there are loads of nearby eateries. The swimming pool was nice I ventured in there on two occasions at 8am, but it does have a lot of members and I think I was lucky as it wasn’t as busy that weekend due to City and Utd playing at Wembley that weekend, overall it was a pleasant stay but for the price I think there could be a bit more consideration for guests as the bar / Starbucks / Gym / Pool / grill / Parking are all used by the public.

Broken fan and light not working in bathroom, room not ready at check in other than a couple of niggles a comfy stay on the whole. We like these hotels because my adult kids love the gym!

I hate having to say this lady in reception was amazing very professional and polite when we went up to room never noticed until arriving back after meal at miller and carter started to get very warm our air con on was repulsively itching I do think the air con and vents need a good clean the room was dusty on mirrors and vent I have pictures overall I couldn’t wait to check out I have less than a hours sleep and feel exhausted just a waste of money we went to have relaxing night and feel worst I hate giving negative feedback but it’s important you are aware to resolve such issues as dirty vents and conditioning units can cause problems with respiratory and on the skin.

I've stayed at the village many a time, and never had any issue however on this occasion it was well below the usual standard they provide. I stayed for 8 nights with my wife and 6 month old child, the first 3 nights my child could not stay as they had not provided a cot as requested. On Christmas eve the door staff would not let me into the hotel despite me showing him my room key it was only after staff came over they let me in. By the 5th night we decided not to let our child stay in the room as our room was not cleaned by housekeeping, on the 6th day it was finally cleaned. we had no fresh towels and our bins were over flowing with nappy sacks for, we mentioned this twice to the reception team on our 6th night our room was finally cleaned and bins emptied by house keeping. It didn't seem like the place it used to be. My partner decided to keep our child away from the hotel due to this. on the Thursday night there was alot of police activity and drunken youngsters at the property which was quite off putting whilst trying to eat a meal Really disappointed on this occasion as we love the hotel and its locality for visitung family.

We was in an accessible room not by request. The sink and bed was too low making it very uncomfortable. The room was in desperate need of a refresh as very worn. The towels had make up stains. Skirting boards and carpets very dusty.

No problems and a lovely hotel
Stayed for 2nights, no problems during our stay and all staff were really helpful and nice. Only thing I would say is the standard rooms are quite small and there’s only a small pole to hand your clothes which is quite high above unit next to the bed which I couldn’t reach.

Room was VERY basic. Extremely overpriced. Clean but basic. Waited over 1.5hrs on a Tuesday evening for our meal. Not pre warned. Just told they were busy! But other tables came in after us got served and left before we even received ours after checking on it.

I was very disappointed stay at village hotel tv remote was not working , heating issue , it was very noisy full blast music going on ground floor disturbing us in bed room music noise all the way was heard in bedroom at the end we had leave hotel at around 11 pm Very disappointed, went looking for staff at reception no body at the reception,

Why do you hide the £5 weekday parking charge? There's nothing obvious during thevonline booking, no clear to see signs just a tiny little bit of text hidden on "The Village" newspaper in the room. Its a cheap and nasty con that makes customers feel as though they're not valued. And, the place is getting a little tired now. Spend some money (more than you do at the moment) on making it a little fresher.

Adequate & Convenient
We have been staying with The Village in Ashton since it opened; having family near by. Rooms are starting to become a bit worn, bashed furniture & Velcro bed decor hanging off. Air conditioning cover not straight There still is nothing in its league nearby the nearest being a well known 'budget' hotel - popular with stag & hen do's Comfortable sleep, nice included breakfast, shower not very powerful but inclusive toiletries. Plenty of parking. Gym & Pool for extra ££ We will stay here again due to convenient location, I would like to see the rooms 'upgraded' though

Dear Louise,We are currently decorating all of our bedrooms however we can only decorate 3-4 per week as the Hotel does get full very often.We have decorated over 70 bedrooms up to now and will hopefully have this completed for November.Kind Regards
