"This is a beautiful old inn in the heart of the Cotswolds. It was very convenient to all the places and sites we were planning to see. There are some hikes close by, and they provided maps and directions. The restaurant had a very good menu with lots of choices. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and helpful."

"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"
