Guesthouse Hof

Guesthouse Hof

10/10 Excellent
"The hosts and staff were exceptional: very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was great and it was a good idea to have it available and you only pay for it if you take part. The facility was very very nice and clean, up to date and really comfortable. Loeke, one of the friendly, friendly cats, should be promoted to senior tour director. He was our tour guide when we walked down to the beach and back to the guesthouse, running ahead on the trail, waiting for us to catch up and then checking things out before we moved forward. Five stars for this place!!!"

"Though there is no check-in desk, someone arrived quickly after a phone call to take us to our room. The guest house was spotless, and the kitchen/dining area had everything we needed to prepare a hearty breakfast and hot drinks. The view of Kirkjufell from our room was an unexpected treat! Walking distance to several restaurants and cafes, next door to a fascinating gallery spread out all over the area, and a short drive to Kirkjufell itself. This is a nice place to stay if you want the ferry from Stykkishólmur, too!"
