"The noise from the street and other parts of the hotel echoed all night. It was way too noisy to sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was fine, and the staff were very good. There’s nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but I’d try not to stay there in a room with windows on the main drag."

The whole hotel is immaculate including bathrooms both those with the room and the public ones. Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. The location is amazing , a 3 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Piazza Grande & close to many good restaurants. "We were looking for a quiet and tranquil location and this is it. Wonderful views from the magnificant gardens which surround the tastefully restored monastery. The exterior and interior have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard and our room was perfect. Yet the main contribution to our stay was the warmth and oustanding service that we received from the whole service team. We loved this hotel; we have travelled all around Europe and feel this is the best we have stayed in."
