One of the reasons I booked this property instead of an Airbnb was the expectation of basic hotel amenities and comfort. "The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight."

"For a whole apartment with kitchen and four rooms, this was good value in the under ninety quid range. It was clean. The only thing that lets it down is that the third party agencies you might see it on, including this one, don’t have the right number for the host. I was left outside for an hour trying to get Expedia to help me, and they couldn’t. That’s because they don’t have the right number. The right number ends in xx62. "This isn't our first time here: We've consistently had problems getting our luggage to the front of the hotel – and the staff just shrugs. At these prices and with such poor service, you'd expect at least a bit more friendliness. And you have to pay an extra 25 pounds per day for room cleaning. Awful! Otherwise: good location, good room amenities, spacious rooms. But: Give your staff some training in friendliness!"
