"Check-in was at 3p. We arrived at around 3:40p with our 2 toddlers and we were told the room was not ready. We waited in the lobby until around 4:25 when it was finally ready. We had done our sight-seeing so it was an inconvenience with hot and tired kids, same for us adults. The room had some dusty areas and a used Q-tip on the carpet. "This little place is right on the highway. Just a block from downtown Solvang, it was easy inconvenient to get into town. There is a restaurant in the hotel right next-door if you don’t want to walk, but there are so many great places in Solvang I would recommend doing that. The room was clean and well kept. "The ease of check-in was nice after a long drive. The room was clean, simple, no frills and exactly what was needed for a shower and some sleep. Very quiet until the neighbor enters their room, then you realize the walls are kind of thin. Fortunately, the noise didn't last long. Bathroom was clean.
