"Staff did all they could under extreme pressure on sunday morning this was due i believe to the hotel being full due to a large wedding on the Saturday Some items ran out initially with a few mins wait but were replaced asap"

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

Large room with kitchenette ( fridge, microwave, two ring cooker, kettle, sink) En-suite bathroom with bath, power shower and W>C, towels supplied in room. Continental breakfast included in price. All this for just £31 per nightt highly recommended."

"This pub was a great find, lovely staff, great breakfast, parking easy and free. The history was amazing. The Gaskell tower is a must. We stayed in a heatwave , the room was warmer than expected, and we should have asked for a fan. The only slight problem, not the pubs fault, it is on the direct flight path for Manchester airport, they did stop flying between the hours of 11.30pm-6.00 am!!"

"The room was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful with questions. Breakfast staff was familiar with gluten free needs. Rooms were pretty hot due to heat wave. Did appreciate the fan."

"We only had an overnight stop here, but it was a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and general public areas of the property were all fine. We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. Would definitely stay here again."

"All though not overly expensive our room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. staff were very helpful when we had an enquiry about the heater in the bath room which was resolved quickly. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied in room."
