An excellent hotel for a short stay. We stayed a Sunday, so it was a bit quiet, but the staff were friendly, the rooms clean, the bed comfy and the shower was a wonder, great pressure. Nice breakfast and all very reasonably priced.

We had 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. The hotel price was excellent value for money and which included breakfast and parking. The breakfast offered cooked options which were freshly prepared by order. All the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with modern decor and bathrooms and with quality beds and bed linens. There was ample parking. The hotel was set in pleasant grounds and conveniently close to the motorway and a great stopping off point for local attractions, villages and country walks. In short, a great hotel for the money.

Romm was very clean and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was excellent and the two ladies, Janet and Tess were not only frindly and helpful but also efficient. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our experience was excellent except 24 hour room service was advertised and when we arrived at 9:30pm after driving delays, we were told the kitchen was closed. The reception person directed us to a takeaway in the village which we did, but would have preferred to stay in after our long drive. Breakfast and staff were delightful.

Lovely hotel located in a serene setting with ample and free parking. We enjoyed great conversation with the friendly staff, especially those in the beautiful dining room. The breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection…delicious! The room was very clean although a bit smaller than we expected but the bathroom was spacious and fully remodeled. It is an old building (squeaky floors, flight of stairs to bedrooms) but it has an interesting history and vintage furniture pieces placed about. We enjoyed afternoon tea served with a wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts.

The hotel was set in very attractive gardens, the function room beautifully laid out with views looking over them, and the bedrooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was first class and most of all we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff.
