"The location was great. Bathrooms had mould in the bathrooms. The walls were so thin that you could hear everything happening outside our room. If someone made a drink in the reception area and stirred the cup, we could hear the spoon clink against the cup. We spent our whole stay whispering, as the hotel is covered in “silence” notices."

"The best thing was that it is right outside the Vatican and close to restaurants and shopping. Expedia says breakfast included, it wasn’t. Not enough hot water pressure in the faucet and took too long to get the hot water. Dated furniture. The manager, Cynthia was very helpful and speaks very good English. No front desk. "

"This guest house is literally a stone’s throw away from the Vatican. It is easy to get around to food and shopping. The owner is very meticulous about your comfort during your stay. She makes sure everything is available for you. There is a shared kitchen if you prefer not to eat out all the time. Because of its location, it is easy to walk to some of the most famous sites. "

"This room was clean and simple. The lady that checked us in was very kind and helpful. The room had air conditioning and coffee and was located near the metro and some restaurants. The bathroom is very small but worked for my friend and I."

"Clean room and friendly staff. No Cooling AC during during our stay. Only Heater. We were told they only have AC cooling during summer season. "

"Very clean, quiet if the room neighbors are quiet. Modern interior. But just note: the main picture refers to the building this micro hotel is in. The suites are just 5 rooms in an apartment with mostly no staff - they are just there to check you in and (expertly) clean the room every day. I would go again, but was surprised about the small size."

"The property was cute and quaint, and well maintained. It was located for us in great walking distance for everything we saw in Venice. It was a bit tight quarters at times, especially in the bathroom with two people trying to manage. The lack of AC was a little bit uncomfortable at times, especially when we got eaten alive by mosquitoes one night with the windows open. The daily breakfast was a lovely and a big perk!"

"BorgoNove was the perfect accommodation whilst visiting the Vatican City for a conference. The owners were quick to answer my many WhatsApp messages about transfers, irons and a lost necklace and they were warm and welcoming with their messages. The room was really big, bed was comfortable and it was really clean. I had almost everything I needed with the only exception being an iron and board, which is fair enough when on holiday, I was at a conference so it would have been helpful, but...

"Position of the apartment is great,but the check-in is a nightmare, the decor is tacky at best and the shower gas no pressure. There was decorating and painting in the building while we were there and that meant walking through dust and paint...but the worst is the elevator...squeezing 2 people in it's almost impossible..."
