It was really good to experience smooth check-in and checkout. The room was rather smaller than I thought, but reasonable. Hotel staff’s were very nice and helpful. This is a clean and convenient hotel.

Nice Hotel 5 min walk away from Aomori Station. The interior looks a little bit dated, but you can see that it was upper quality decades ago and is still very good. Nice location with shopping and good restaurants around and close to some sightseeing spots. Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful. If I would only compare it to hotels in that price range, I would have given 5 Stars, but since I also reviewed hotels way above this price range, it wouldn´t make sense. Never the less, I totally recommend this hotel.

Hotel JAL city is within walking distance of JR Aomori Station. There are other hotels in the same price range that are closer to the station. It normally wouldn’t be much of an issue, except when you encounter snowfall, like I did. But even so, the hotel is a fine establishment with an onsite restaurant that has a wonderful breakfast buffet.

Wonderful hotel! Very convenient and so close to the ocean. The rooms are older but very clean and spacious. It’s a great place to sleep as well. Very comfortable beds. I would recommend.

Restaurant on-site required reservation so could not dine there. Fortunately, the staff who handled our check-in gave us very good suggestions on where to dine as we reached the hotel after 8 pm. Complimentary water, apple juice and cookies were nice extras. Liquid soap, shampoo, etc., were good and produced locally. Beds and beddings were very comfortable

One night stay here. Staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and a good size compared to many hotel rooms in Japan. However the double bed was still up against the wall on one side which make for uncomfortable getting in and out of the bed for one occupant. This of course disturbs the other occupant. There were sufficient amenities in room. Wifi good. Walking distance to the shops and dining. However it felt odd that the dining room at night was reserved for guests of a certain tier. With heavy snow outside it would have been nice to dine in-house.

Reasonable price with descent room

Typical western room in Japan, spacious for one person, a bit crowded for two, but overall space is good enough for short stay. Around 7 minute walk from hotel to Aomori station and most of the restaurants, same distance to supermarket called “CELEST”. Room is clean and comfortable, hotel staff is nice, and the breakfast is nice, choices might be limited to some people but overall taste is awesome! Overall this hotel is a good option for visitors in Aomori.
