Its nice hotel but definitely to expensive during the Nebuta festival. Still everything was super clean and accessibility to everything was amazing.

The queen room was tiny!!! The photos are misleading on the website! I felt like we were in a closet. It was claustrophobic! I hated it. And there was a huge horsefly on the food at the morning buffet. I will not return.

Great location

Train station and lots of eateries nearby the hotel. Had to pay parking fee of 700 yen to park overnight in a car park few minutes walk from the hotelโ€ฆvery inconvenient especially with heavy luggages.

The existence black hairs in the bathing area was not good. (I am a former blonde, now gray.) However, the rest of the room seemed clean. The breakfast are was surprisingly good. The buffet provided tasty food, and there were lots of windows looking down on the street waking up below. Very convenient and fun shopping area.

Outrageous price for tiny room-avoid Aomori Neputa

The room was tiny and the bed enclosed by walls on three sides. My partner had to crawl over me to get out of bed. We couldn't both stand at the same time. There was free apple juice and an ear of corn, but no water?? The city should be embarrassed to allow such price gauging: ๏ฟฅ50,000 for a room that normally goes for ๏ฟฅ10,000 is a crime. Everybody should follow the Japanese government's advice and avoid Aomori Neputa (wonderful though it is) and go to a local Neputa where the business community doesn't rip you off. The room was clean, but the overall hotel is showing its age. The location is excellent.

The room was cozy with enough electrical outlets. The bath tub is enough for a hot bath after shower. The Aomori station was less than a 5-minute walk, and lots of restaurants were close by.

Inefficient service / info on parking

The room was terribly small. We rented a car and parking was essential. While the hotel does not have their own parking lot, but they have collaboration with nearby parking operators with special rates for hotel guests. The staff did mention where we can park, but they DID NOT let us know we have to bring the parking ticket for them to validate before it would qualify for the flat rate as mentioned in the flyers. We were charged double the fee on our first night and only to find out when we went back to read the flyers LINE BY LINE ourselves.

Significant room for improvement for services.

No backup box tissue, once used up then need to ask front desk for refill. No bottled water every day. Throw away the toothbrush that provided by the hotel everyday which is not environmentally friendly. Rubbish bin is too small. Anyone can reach any floors without hotel key card. Very good location. The bed and pillow are comfy
