"Good location, 2 pubs very near and a 5 minute walk to Lyndhurst. Could have been a bit cleaner (only a couple of cobwebs on a light fitting nothing serious or off putting) but good for a reasonably priced Hotel. Reception friendly and helpful. We will go there again. P.S. Its very dog friendly."

"Staff at check in was fantastic. She recognized I was a returning guest from 1 year ago and updated my room. Breakfast was very good many options including ability to special order eggs."

"The rooms were so hot couldn’t be helped in this heat but couldn’t sleep art all , gave us a fan but it wasn’t much good , breakfast was ok but on the first morning run out of orange juice and coffee machine wasn’t working that well . On the Saturday there was a wedding party music was loud into the night nobody told us in advance"

"The staff was great - friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast on the premises. There was plenty of a/c which was most important. I paid extra to use the pool facility. The pool was small and crowded. Children were jumping in and no rules were enforced. If you want to cool off the pool is worth it but otherwise it wasn't great. Overall I recommend the hotel. Enjoy the food and great atmosphere at the bar."
