"The rooms are huge, but definitely needs some updating. The doors had some chunks out of the wood and the shutters didn’t close all the way on one side. They did offer a continental breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. Next-door to cannabis store, but the security was good so no fear on that. Overall, it could’ve been more pleasant. Had the staff been there when we needed in there and if it had a little updating"

"It was very convenient location since we wanted to go to Ventura harbor. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They make you an omelet with your choice ingredients right in front of you. The room was clean but the bathroom looked old. I could smell breach in the room and linens were very rough due to breach."

"The location is great. Steps from the beach and a block away from DT Ventura. We stayed on a busy weekend, so I’m guessing that affected the overall infrastructure. The hotel is fairly dated and needs some TLC. The elevators were super slow and at times were shut down altogether. Our shower drained slowly and the hot water wasn’t consistent. "Staff is friendly and helpful. Property and rooms are well maintained. Property is immaculate. My only dislike was the mattresses. They are horrible. Extremely uncomfortable, soft and saggy. No firmness at all. Maybe the ones in my room were older but they really were horrible. Other than that it was a great stay."
