"Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to locate the Hotel car park! Lovely property and now we know where the car park is and route to it, will be back when travelling through the Port. Excellent quality breakfast, fresh rooms and spacious public areas. Out of 3 different hotels I have stayed at, whilst I travel on the Ferry this is easily the best and most relaxing. Thank you"

"We stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. It's a little noisy until after 10:30pm because of the restaurant downstairs. It's located near the river so it was nice to walk along the promenade. There is parking nearby for a fee. Breakfast was ok, nothing special."

"Tucked out of the way, Hotel Playa Bemón became a refuge for me from the hurly burly of both Santander City and the more conspicuous hotels in Somo. I enjoyed a magnificent two nights of perfect sleep. There was also the business of a delightful 30 minute ferry ride from a cute little slip just a few minutes walk from the Santander bus depot. All of this just totally enchanting. In the evening glorious sunsets from the beach at Somo, overlooking the bay and Santander. The Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. No complaints of any kind, really. On both mornings of my two-day stay I ambled over to the Somo beach and found surfers galore--there was an international surf meet going on--and delighted in watching them ply their skills on the waves. "catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the world" the Beach Boys sang back in the early 1960's. True to form here. I also enjoyed a fantastic dinner in one of the sophisticated eateries in the small town of Somo. Fresh seafood, good wine, excellent service. I highly recommend the experience of visiting Somo and staying at the Hotel Playa Bemón."

"This is great hotel, either as a stopover before you get a ferry from Bilbao Port (5 minutes drive) or spending a couple of days visiting Bilbao city as transport into the cityis very accessible. Rooms are quiet, air-conditioned (but could have been more efficient) and have tea/coffee makong facility and a fridge. There is an underground carpark for a small additional fee, which keeps motorcycles safe. We have stayed here twice, both occasions there were wedding events, but still we had a quiet night. The restaurant is okay, especially if you don't want to explore Santurtzi. Lovely friendly waiting staff who knew how to make a good cocktail. Highly recommend this accommodation."

"Booked a night here as it was reasonably close to Santander where we were sailing into. It was easy to find. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner at the hotel which was excellent and a good breakfast. The gentleman on duty overnight at reception was especially helpful when we needed some assistance.We had a good stay and would happily use again"
