"My husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. The rooms, the luxurious touches, the service, the thoughtful design, the food, the ammenities--all perfection. No detail was overlooked. Everyone on the staff greeted us by name. "Beautiful, new, comfortable, safe and convenient. Besides the lack of close bars and restaurants we had everything we needed. Of course the city is uber friendly we were just too early for some of the new bars and restaurants being built. Really enjoyed our stay. I would consider staying at another Roost down the road. "

"Great location and a very nice staff. Cute boutique hotel. The room is nice and the bed is comfy. Be prepared to pay $60 per night for valet parking at the hotel...which is steep. The sign outside the hotel notes $50 for parking however they add 20% tax on top of that, which is extreme and likely not passed on to the valet as a tip, so you tip..on top of that too. If you only travel with an overnight bag, it's definitely worth finding another garage/lot in the area, which would save you some...

"Excellent hotel, very good location, close to many places to eat within walking distance. The breakfast was very good and complete. Excellent service overall. All the staff were very friendly and kind — from the front desk girls, valet parking attendants, the housekeeping staff, to those serving breakfast. Everyone was excellent. The hotel is very cozy, has a gym, and although I didn’t use it, there is free laundry service."

"This hotel is amazing. Very friendly, in a great location, and had no problems. My dog came with me and they did not give me a hard time or make me feel judged like other hotels have. Great walking distance, had complimentary wine hour and tea/coffee. 10/10 stay all around. We will be returning upon ventures in Bmore area!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay and would chose to stay there again. Our only advice is to please have some free coffee available in the lobby, an try to improve the breakfast at the restaurant on site - that was not a good experience (actually was a pretty bad experience) on what is an otherwise superb hotel!"
