Great hotel and the staff are very helpful. Great lift to the property to avoid 200 steps. Only thing I would say is darker curtains are needed to block out the sun in the mornings as we couldnt see that the shutters on the windows were operational without keaning right out of the wondow, which was high up

Amazing room with a view. The owner was so nice as were all the staff. Breakfast was incredible and it was towards the end of the cute street by the main Amalfi Pier. Easy to get to our yacht cruise we had booked. I would definitely one back and stay longer!!!

Amazing hotel with great view, room and service!

The best hotel we have stayed in Italy so far. The service was amazing, the rooms clean & comfortable and the view is incredible. Quiet hotel yet really convenient for the town. Variety of breakfast choices and really enjoyed a drink in the evening over looking the town. Thoroughly recommend!!

Villa Lara is a quiet little place about 10 minutes from the bustling downtown area of Amalfi. It has a beautiful view of the coast and of the beautiful mountains. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to sit in the mornings to enjoy some peace and the quietness of the coast. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel like you are a part of their family.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Lara for 5 days in early October 2024 and it was a fantastic visit. The owner and staff were outstanding - very helpful with questions about local attractions, restaurants and transportation. The Villa is very clean, the breakfasts were excellent and the view from the Villa's balcony/breakfast area was stunning. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

A small inn with just 5 rooms with personable and helpful English speaking staff. Located just outside the touristy area of town but within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Note that hotel is not accessible by car but is an easy 10 minute walk through town. You can hire a porter at the town entrance if you don’t want to walk to hotel by foot. Note that once at the inn, you need go about 10-15 stairs before reaching the lift. Lovely view of the water from the breakfast dining area.

Villa Lara is a truly lovely place to stay in Amalfi It is close to the centre yet when you are in the villa it is tranquil and views are amazing It is so nice and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful, breakfast on the terrace is just wonderful! Excellent hotel, the staff were all friendly, the view from the terrace is 10 out of 10. Breakfast options were very good, and it’s nice being above the busyness of the city centre. Nice and peaceful in the evening. The beach in Amalfi was beautiful, great swimming. I drove from Sorrento to Amalfi, I wouldn’t do that. Next time I’d use a bus or car service. Again, a really nice hotel..cheers
