"Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up! "

"Starting with the positives, every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with. The restaurant food was very good, and although the dinner menu was unimaginative, everything was beautifully cooked and good to eat. Breakfast was also lovely. However, the hotel had a bit of a tired feel overall and the room we stayed in could do with a refurb. Having said this, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good temperature. luxurious
. But the room was indeed a pleasant surprise. We stayed in a twin double beds room. Very spacious and clean. Facilities wise, swimming pool is one of the best among the ones we have been. "Great rooms.Unfortunately we were at the main road end of the building where building work is taking place and it was very noisy, even with soundproofing, from early in the morning. My daughters were at the opposite end of the building and it was also noisy with lorries loading at around 3am. Other than this we had a great stay. Great breakfast too"
