"While I will admit the hotel needs a refresh, it is a bit dated and needs more sockets near the bed for modern technology. However, we found the hotel clean, with enough towels and pillows, and the bed comfortable. As a wheelchair user, I found the room had enough clearance to move around with ease. The staff was helpful, and being able to park for free for nearly three days was a bonus. There is a small co-op next door if you need to buy any supplies, etc., while the tram is just across the road and takes about 15 minutes to reach central Manchester. If you visit on the weekend, you can get a tram travel card for £6.80, which is valid to travel in Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 from 1800 hrs on a Friday night until Sunday morning."

"On arrival the first impression the hotel looks nice and check in went fine. What a shock we got when entering the room. The room was a twin room but more like a single room. The beds were pushed together like something you would get in a cheap Spanish room. The floor was filthy and the walls the same. After rearranging the beds with a struggle so we could have a bit of space we found the mattresses both covers in stains.as we were only there two nights we just got on with it. There is one thing for sure I will not be returning."

"Stayed for 2 nights, we were out from 6am to 8pm for the day on our return room hadn’t been cleaned. Rang reception and they brought clean towels. Really disappointed. Bed sheets were stained and not the standard I would expect for a Malmaison. Also rooms are tired and a bit grubby, bathroom needs refurbished, leaking sink tap, water just ran onto floor. However, location is fab but there are better hotels nearby."
