"A real hidden gem!! My wife and I had a great weekend break to celebrate her 60th birthday at the Balincourt Guest House. The whole place has a lovely vibe very clean with great service at breakfast with loads of options. We definitely return. "

"Such a lovely hotel , amazing view of the river , was given a upgrade wow it was a 2 bedroom apartment floor to ceiling window in lounge to relax and watch the boats sail by what more could we ask for . The food was all delicious, we had breakfast , lunch and dinner , staff were all very friendly . The hydropool in spa was relaxing everywhere was clean . There were a couple of niggles in the room , the bed was making creaking noises every movement which was a bit annoying so maybe the bedstead...

We were in room 5, it was spotless, comfortable bed, good nights sleep , homemade cookies in a wee jar, soft towels , warm shower, fluffy towels . Wishing we were there longer - but will definitely return. "
