"We opted for bed and breakfast at the hotel, we did a lot of hiking whilst on Madeira and, the Saccharum resort breakfast never failed to set us up for whatever we were getting up to. First class service! Great local restaurants in the area but I have to call out the hotel restaurants as being second to none. We ate in the restaurant overlooking the infinity pool on two occasions- fantastic choice, efficiency and the staff were wonderful."

We were not pleased with the coffee service, nor did we find the lack of parking near by the hotel helpful. We were especially pleased with the assistance the front desk staff offered us around our very early departure and treansportation to the airport."
