"The air conditioning in most of the rooms doesn't work effectively. Even on the highest setting, the airflow is very low, and rooms have sensors that turn the ac off if you're not in the room. The 5 days we were there, the room was hot and uncomfortable the whole time, affecting our sleep.
The rest of the hotel is fairly nice, a bit dated, but people should be aware of the ac issues."

"Friendly staff, beautiful property, pool was a great addition because the beach is a walk (steep uphill back). Dinner was basic and I wouldn’t recommend unless you are in a pinch and need something close."

"Pro: upgraded to a larger room; small supermarket on property; on the beach; AC unit
Cons: very loud construction noise in the room next door starting at 8AM and lasting all day long; they have onsite laundry facilities that cost $7.00 USD to wash per load and then $7.00 to dry in a small capacity machine!!! $28.00 USD to wash and dry 2 loads of laundry; building is pretty run down both inside and outside"

"There was a severe ant issue in my room. I filed three complaints and was told they would be addressed, but they were not. The ants invaded our suitcases and personal handbags. Good thing I had Lysol, so I used it to clean out my suitcase and personal handbag before departure."
