"Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I was treated in a very rude manner by the front desk staff. It’s such a shame that a hotel would choose someone with that attitude to welcome guests. Instead of feeling good arriving at the hotel, I was left with a very bitter impression because of the way the receptionist spoke to me. When I expressed how uncomfortable the interaction felt, her only response was, “I’m just doing my job.” I completely understand that hotels have policies, but there are many ways to communicate them respectfully and courteously. Her tone was cold, rude, and condescending, almost as if the customer were too unintelligent to understand. On top of that, the hotel itself feels very old. The carpets have an unpleasant smell, and if you have allergies, I honestly would not recommend staying here. A truly disappointing experience overall."

"This property is under major, major reconstruction- jackhammering tile floors all day - cement dust and blocked off areas everywhere - long lines to get onto an elevator and temporary front (small) desk with 1 person available for check in and out in a hotel with 500 rooms - really? The staff seems to think that is fine when I asked about how awful things were saying, “It’s fine.” There were plastic tarp walls in all areas making it difficult to walk around and find your way. They offered no help with our bags when we asked saying he was the only person available- nor getting a cart we could use - sending us looking all over the hotel. The food and drink areas were also all torn up. The garage was all yellow taped - and blocked off in most areas to paint parking stall lines. Every part of this hotel was under construction. Hilton should have closed this location to undertake these major types of changes to the hotel verses subject their guests to this type of assault - and then charge us for it! Greedy is all I can say. We will NEVER stay at an Embassy Suites again - AWFUL. Am seriously tempted to give up my Gold status with Hilton after this experience if this is the way they are going to treat us. There are many other fine hotels to choose from in the world."

"Our stay at Hotel AKA Alexandria was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The hotel is beautifully designed, modern, elegant, and incredibly clean. Every detail felt intentional and luxurious while still feeling warm and welcoming. The staff provided exceptional customer service and made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Everyone was professional, accommodating, and kind. The atmosphere was peaceful, upscale, and relaxing exactly what we needed. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities exceeded expectations. The location was also perfect with easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and nearby attractions. If you’re looking for a hotel that blends luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend Hotel AKA Alexandria. We will definitely be returning!"
