"The host was a very nice man, incredibly welcoming and helpful. You get this sense that you're well taken care of. Definitely deserves 5stars. If you are a light sleeper you should be travelling with earplugs; motorbikes in the night could get a little noisy. I'm sure that's an issue everywhere if you are closer to a roadway."

"Great staff. Large rooms are available for families (thus was our case). Three bathrooms were available, one kitchen and one fridge. There are regular evening activities through the week. "As a Hotels.com Gold member, I was genuinely surprised by this stay. The check-in communication was nonexistent, so I had to reach out myself just to get inside. The lighting was controlled by a single key, making it awkward for two guests, and the host was inflexible about that, telling me I should not have removed the key for the light from the entrance keys. "This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "Beautiful suites with plenty of space to spread out and relax. All of our needs were more than taken care of (though I could have used a full length mirror). Staff was very welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and they graciously got us settled into our rooms so that we could relax before heading out. The hotel is a hidden gem, super convenient to the tourist area with plenty of restaurants and shopping, but calm and peaceful once you're inside. Would definitely stay here again!"
