"This hotel is very clean and comfortable and a short distance to the entrance to the Valley of the Temples archaeological park. But what makes this place so special is Ms. Francesca, the hostess and owner of the hotel. She is a true gem and a wonderful person…very kind and accommodating and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She cooks a FABULOUS breakfast for her guests and is just such a kind person. "Very likable little place. More homey than a hotel. Gracious host. Generous breakfast. There are some convenient and tasty food options nearby. Its a bit of a walk to get up or down the hill to the town or the ruins in the heat of day. Street parking was free and fairly attainable. Do be prepared for the small cash city tax at checkout. 4€ per night. Why can this not be included at booking time? Bring an Italian (type c) vs continental europe power adapter. (Type f)"

"The best hotel to stay at. The host was very friendly. We were only guest so he treated us like royalty. The parking was hard so once parked, no need to use it. We told him we wanted earlier breakfast and he gave us early breakfast. "

"We are a family of four and the Quadruple room was perfect for us. Giusy was great, responsive and accommodating. While we were unloading luggage from our car, she found and pointed out a parking spot for us, right next to the hotel, which saved us hassles of driving to a paid parking lot. The breakfast was delicious and wonderful. Our stay in Agrigento was brief but La Nuova Girgenti made it special. We will be back."

"It was a very nice with a full kitchen, including refrigerator. There was a modern bathroom with a nice shower. The room is on the 11th floor of the building but there's an elevator so no problem. It was quiet on that floor. You're really close to the train station which is great. Claudio, the host, the good job communicating with me during my stay and was attentive to anything I needed."
