"Wonderful stay at Village Kyoto We absolutely loved our time at Village Kyoto; it exceeded expectations in every way. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of Nishiki Market, the Gion area, and plenty of restaurants and shops. You really feel immersed in Kyoto without being overwhelmed by noise. The hotel feels modern and well-designed, and the staff are genuinely professional, efficient, and friendly. Check-in was smooth, and everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful. Little touches made the stay extra special: complimentary sake and ice cream available in the lobby, which was such a fun surprise. The onsen facilities (indoor baths and sauna) were very nice and the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Rooms are beautifully appointed and come with everything you could need: comfortable beds, yukata robes, high-quality toiletries, complimentary bottled water, tea/coffee facilities, and great showers with strong water pressure. For the level of comfort, location, and amenities, it felt like excellent value for money. We’ll definitely choose Village Kyoto again on our next trip and can’t recommend it highly enough.
