"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."

"Very comfortable bed and good shower. Good amenities close by. Room was freezing when we arrived, ancient heat pump took hours to adequately warm the room and was very noisy. Very limited info available, took until mid morning next day to find someone to give us the wifi password."

"This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive. "Super clean room and very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet spot with the bonus of the parking area out the back. Super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and helpful! Price of the room was also decent for the convenience of being so close to the Main Street. Highly recommend!"

" Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified."

Dinged one star for two reasons: the value for money is not great - you’re paying a premium for the location and there’s no competition in that regard, and the lobby restaurant quality was a little underwhelming given the price point."
