"Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. "Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom....

"The property is clean and unique (a trullo). The paid parking is close by. The breakfast is pretty good but nothing too special. If you want to stay in a trullo in a very convenient location it is worth it. But if you are willing to drive (or walk) a bit, I am sure you can find cheaper options. Compared to our other stays in Puglia I think this stay was a bit too expensive for what it was. "

"The stay was absolutely perfect, I traveled with my family and we utilized both apartments for 7 people with plenty of room for everyone. Ruvo is a beautiful town and the Casa Rubis was in walking distance of everything, fresh bread, pastry, meats , fish and fresh sliced cured meats and cheese, I am missing my stay already. We can’t wait to travel back, thank you for an excellent stay Casa Ribis!!!"

"Cute and quaint. Close enough to the beach which was a 10 minute walk away. There are no staff in this location so asking for extra towels and toilet paper was awkward but the staff were very helpful and nice. The park for children is right across the street which was great for my 8y old and 6y old but the walls did not have sound proofing so sleeping at night was difficult for a light sleeper such as myself. Loved the town!"
