"The hotel room was outdated and the floor was not clean at all. Furniture was very dusty. The AC barely works and we felt super hot in the room. That’s where the good stuff pretty much ends, the restaurant staff were rather friendly and helpful as was the gent on reception but the hotel is tired and it’s covered up with odd decoration. "Overall a good hotel, location and amenities. It’s not the most modern, but the pool/bar area are 1st class and the staff very friendly and attentive. Good location for Catania, 10min Uber into downtown/ Metro station. Great views of Etna, ask for pool/sea view room (even no’s). Quality breakfast. The rooms are large, but dated and the hotel fascia could do with a fresh lick of paint. Plenty of local bars/restaurants near by and amazing food/wine for bargain prices. Está en lo alto de una colina, imprescindible moverse en coche, no me imagino subir allí andando con maletas. Vistas preciosas al Mar Jónico. La piscina sólo está abierta de 10:30 a 18:30 porque sólo se permite el baño si está el socorrista, con lo que se aprovecha poco si pasas el día fuera de excursión (lo habitual).
