"The property was very well located, close to all the main tourist locations, very close to the hop on hop off bus stop. The room was clean but the bathroom had hair on the sink and the toilet. The tub was also dirty. The staff were helpful, however their key machine was not working the week we were there and we had to get one of the staff to open our room door every time we left the hotel room which was very inconvenient. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades, the floor in our room was...

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack.
otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"Our twin room was spacious and had everything each of us needed. Outlets on each side of the bed, coffee, tea, a kettle, biscuits and bottled water. The bathroom was spacious. Perfect location to catch our tour bus or walk up Calton Hill. Tucked away from the busy street in the most perfect way. Will definitely stay here again!"

I booked this hotel for this. There is a laundromat down the road a tick, however."

"Great location, close to downtown, royal mile, train station and close enough to the airport for an easy taxi. They were able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which we greatly appreciated. The room was comfortable with nice amenities. The entire property is quite nice and spacious. All staff members we interacted with were kind and helpful.
My only complaint is that the bathroom doors have transparent cut-outs, removing much privacy between the toilet and the rest of the room. It's an...
