Hotel Dekat Abbey Leisure Centre

"We didnt use the room all day, but first impressions, very clean and neat! The bathroom was shinning and nicely presented. The shower was powerful and e got small condiments for shampoo and body wash. Nice towels (although I prefer the large ones). But soft and clean. In a very busy high street so food and drink is in abundance and also getting tubes and ubers is easy too. Staff very friendly. I didnt have time to check out the breakfast, but it was complimentary and no extra charge to the...

"Clean and neat very conveniently located near the DLR station"

"The highlight of our stay was Elena at reception, who was very helpful when we checked in and assisted us with applying the parking discount using the machine outside. Excellent customer service from her. The room itself could do with more attention. The carpet had several visible stains, and the refreshments provided were inadequate for two guests, with only one regular tea bag and one herbal tea bag available. Usually, there are at least two of each. Hopefully these housekeeping issues can be...

"Le informazioni per il check-in sono arrivate un po’ in ritardo e ho dovuto insistere, ma dopo il gestore si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile. Camera sotto una mansarda per cui un po’ calda ma fornita di tre letti, un armadio, un tavolino e il bagno esterno, pulita. Lontano dal centro di Londra ma ben servita dai mezzi pubblici"

"Drinks are too expensive. This was the only point, that was not so good. From second day we bought our beer in the city at Tesco Express, because we got there cold beer. The Tesco, who is next to the hotel, did only sell room-temperatured beer and there's no cooler in your room."

"Good location, comfortable room, very good breakfast and staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Four of us came for MCM London, the staff were lovely and the room was clean. Cleaners came in whilst we were out which was nice, but did throw away some hair pins for my friends wig. Parking is first come first serve and there was only three spaces available, not a massive downside. Though I did have to park in the Ilford Exchange shopping centre carpark for the weekend, good place to park if the hotel spaces are full, seemed safe and was pretty cheap for London. The pillows were pretty...

"Great for your budget. Excellent clean rooms. Room looks small but you have your own private bathroom space… Common kitchen is mostly clean and easy to use all stuff. Location is close to everything… Staff supper good and helpful. I will surely stay again. Cheers"

"Friendly staff, great location"

"It was a lovely stay"

"All good"

"Absolutely shocking the photos on the website are a fabrication. I was told I was staying in another property down the road which on approach was dark, overflowing bags of rubbish and the front door propped open by a fire extinguisher. The entrance and stairs were filthy and haven't been vacuumed for ages. Loose pills on the stairs, receipts, more rubbish and had to navigate over shoes, shopping bags, beer boxes and yet more rubbish. And this was before I got into the room. On entering, there...

"I had a booking reserved with a pay for the stay on arrival, apparently after waiting over an hour this option was not available and they cancelled my booking. Left stranded in London trying to find somewhere else on a busy Saturday afternoon. Would never recommend trying to stay there. Booked through hotels. Com, they were not helpful either"
