"For a 3 night stay we ended up in 3 different rooms. When we checked in and went to our first room we saw a mouse run under the door and into the room. We went to the front desk and requested a different room. The following day while in the shower the drain clogged. We called the front desk and they sent someone up who wasn't able to fix it. They then moved us to our third room, which worked. We checked out the following day, I won't be returning to this hotel."

"The room was very clean, sheets fresh, bathroom tidy. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, so were the cleaners and the lady at the restaurant who served my meal. I ordered room service and it was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips. The hotel was definitely busy, but you could tell the guests really felt comfortable there. Me and my company felt welcomed and we knew we were at a clean, well taken care of establishment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to feel...

"We checked in after a mixup with another hotel, we were staying in Halifax for my girlfriends birthday. Our room smelled really bad. The pool was not opened and we were not made aware until after our reservation. The bar was closed with no bartender the whole day. There were 2 bottles of water in the room that had a charge for "non members" like are you kidding me? Breakfast was another fee, basically after paying a ridiculous amount of money there were fees for everything. The customer service...

"Unfortunately, not worth the price I paid for a three-night stay in mid-October. This hotel feels more like a “three-star with a nice lobby” than the advertised four-star experience. If you want to time-travel to the nineties, though, great choice… My stay cost over CAD $1,400 before taxes for the room alone. It was a last-minute booking, but even so, the quality fell well short of what I expected. Worn carpets, tired furniture, and a small, uninviting gym all added to the dated feel. My room...
