"We stayed here with our two kids aged 9 and 12. The location was perfect for exploring the Halifax waterfront. The Citadel was right next to the hotel and we spent a few enjoyable hours there as well! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The onsite parking was convenient, easy to access and a reasonable price at $27 CAD plus tax a day. Hot tub, sauna and rooftop terrace were very well maintained and clean. "The staff and our room was great, but getting to it required using the one working North elevator, whose doors close really fast, and which stop only when they hit, hard, on your body, on a stroller. The location is not ideal, while it is in a safe area, getting to some attractions can be a long and tiring ealk if you are not renting a car or using public transportation.
