"Amazing stay! The room was very comfortable (the fancy shower is a plus). We ended up eating at the restaurant most of the time as it was great. The breakfast is super high quality, with home made bread, fresh fruits, great coffee, juice, and many options…the pools are both fine. The staff is really nice and willing to help. Would book again! Der einzige minus Punkt ist das quietschendes Bett, was bei jeder Umdrehung quietschte. Filtertrinkwassergerät hat uns den Weg in den Supermarkt erspart. Dafür ein grosses Dankeschön. "

The accommodation is located a bit outside of Kuta, about 20–30 minutes by scooter, but the peace and the view are absolutely unique. We would come back anytime, without hesitation. "Hotel was ok although getting a little run down (not dirty just old). Most staff was very friendly but the food service was hit and miss. They messed up our orders twice and every night pushed the buffet and would be reluctant to let us order from the A La Carte menu. However the food from the menu was generally good and cocktails were great. The buffet was expensive and not as good. The hotel needs more competition so it will raise it's game."

"If you’re looking for a self contained retreat experience, this property is awesome. Having its own private beach is a plus for that. It’s an older property but beautifully maintained. If you want to venture off the property, though, that’s a different story. It’s isolated, miles removed from the Kuta Beach scene. In my eye, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. I found Kuta Beach to be overrun with locals on the weekend and largely deserted during the week. Didn’t like the aggressiveness of the hawkers either. So I was content to stay at the Novotel and relax most of the time. "
