"We had a nice stay at Silkari Lagoons! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel is in a great location—just a short drive or leisurely walk from the centre of Port Douglas, making it easy to explore the local cafes, shops, and the beach. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay. "

"Oaks Resort overall was good, unfortunately the towels and sheets were dirty, but the hotel staff were fabulous and organised house keeping to replace the towels and change the sheets very promptly. The pool area was fabulous as was the gardens surrounding Oaks Resort. We would no hesitate to stay there again. "

"Great Location. Friendly staff. Stayed in the Ground Floor Room with walk out to pool which was great. Spa was great. Room was small. Nowhere to put suitcases. Bathroom old and needs renovation. Shutters were in need of repair. Definitely needs renovation so a bit expensive for quality. "

"Stayed one night. Nice sized room and comfy bed! Good sized bath and decent kitchenette facilities. Didn't get a chance to use the pools but looked great! It was a nice stay."

"Had a fantastic time, loved the location and the pool. Only downside would be the wifi being so weak that it kept dropping out. Also the floors being concrete somebody upstairs kept stomping around and dragging furniture about. Very strange. Overall would definitely stay again."

"The staff were absolutely wonderful. Professional, friendly and knowledgable. The food was exceptional. Fresh, tasty, innovative and in excellent portions. The Ecolodge was a great place to start our day and a cool, comfortable refuge at the end of the day's activities.The location despite being in the Daintree was very accessble to tours, restaurants and shopping- for us. Ee recommend the Ecolodge without hesitation."

"Gary and Jo were super helpful with dinner ideas and things to do in the area, both really nice people. Room was clean, well stocked, a nice size and the location was walkable to shops and restaurants as well as the beach and pier. Parking was available and convenient and our place was super private and quiet. Highly recommend! "
