The manager was extremely helpful and spent time explaining about the surrounding area and animal life. We felt as if we were staying with family! "The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely not worth the money spent. We found food more reasonably priced and better tasting outside the resort. I would strongly recommend this site if you want great views, friendly staff, the feeling of being alone, and don’t mind no AC."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was really clean wit amazing, open spaces and a nice pool. The washroom was clean and the rooms were really comfortable with AC and multiple beds, towels, and some blankets. Raquel was an awesome host and gave us really great recommendations nearby including restaurants and a convenience store. We weren't expecting so many critters but it was easy to keep them out of the bedrooms and didn't interfere much with our stay. It was such a good environment to relax in. Super comfortable, incredibly responsive host, and was a highlight of our trip. Thanks so much Raquel!"
