"Fantatadtic helpful staff. Richard on the reception in the was a credit to the hotel. As was the lady who brought our meal to the table. The evening meal was delicious, and just the correct temperature. The bad was a bit lumpy, but considering the hotel was right next to a busy A14, there was no teafgic to be heard."

"Rooms used to belong to Premier Inn so are of the same standard and decoration as Premier Inn. Very friendly reception staff, clean, comfortable rooms. We stayed on a bank holiday Saturday night and despite the hotel being fairly full it was quiet with no disturbances. Food in pub next door very good value for money."

"We stayed here for 1night & we really enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed, only thing we didn’t have in our room for the evening to sleep was a fan but that’s just our preference. Staff were spot on, they was very helpful & friendly, & we was made to feel safe with just a phonecall away as we was 2 girls staying here. Couldn’t have ask for more, we’d definitely stay again! "

However I found the room to have a very strong smell of damp, there was a lot of dust on top of the curtains, and lamp shades. "Located just off the motorway and halfway on our journey, plenty of parking, looks very much like it used to be a premier inn, so needless to say comfortable bed, nice clean room, if we had to really nit pick and find fault, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, or at least not working if the was one, 1st world problems! Despite being very close to the motorway and being able to hear traffic outside, once in the room, you couldn't hear a thing, this may be different in the heat of summer...

"This hotel is without doubt “budget”. It’s dated and tatty and in the middle of nowhere, but the bed was comfy and was fine for a base for a couple of nights as I was working in Cambridge. The added bonus of having a basic continental breakfast was appreciated. Parking on site too. If it’s prices rise much more, it wouldn’t be worth it but for a cheap hotel it’s a decent enough base."

"Given ground floor on courtyard and was a little worried about noise but no problem. Paid £4 for parking which wasn’t advertised on hotels.com but it was a big car park and safe and had a barrier. Can’t comment on the rest of the hotel as we booked in at reception and went outside to courtyard rooms. Didn’t opt for breakfast as was up and on our way. Would stay again at this hotel if we were in Grantham "
