The clerk at the desk was completely neutral; neither welcoming nor rude. It was made up for the lovely Justina who served us in the restaurant. She was friendly and helpful and made our evening. Let’s see what the breakfast service is like!

The hotel is fairly new and everything looks it. Staff were very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were both superb. My room was a good size, clean but the only downside was the bed. The mattress was too hard. I found it very uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. The pillows too were an issue. One was not enough as they were so soft but two were too many.

I am a disabled, and our room was on a first floor, I could have managed the stairs, but Barry on the front desk was so kind, caring and helpful person, he switched our room on the ground floor even without we asking.

Best western rockingham

Got a really good deal for an overnight stay. Currently building work going on but not to the detriment of the rooms or the food. A good nights sleep. No breakfast required so can’t comment but great shower. Lovely staff particularly Claire who ran around making sure we were looked after. Will definitely stay again.

Good value

Mainly very good rooms, comfortable and clea. However, they are currently refurbishing the corridors which badly need it, so one side of hotel has scaffolding attached. Very polite lady on reception and good value breakfast.

Booked one of the suites with my partner for the night. Drove 5 mins for a really curry. Got back to room gave her the good news for a bit. Then had a very comfy sleep. Jacuzzi bath was lovely.

There is no lift here which could be a problem. It was quiet when we stayed but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quite basic but clean. No complaints.

Welcoming convenient and clean

As a single female I felt very safe and welcome at this hotel. Perfect location for a music gig at the venue literally less than 5 minutes walk straight down the road. Both day and night receptionists Brogan and Andy were very friendly, efficient and provided great customer service. Day and night they both willingly opened the bar for me and others (the band!) Thank you to them both. Having a room change as maintenance required in my original room was a bonus as upgraded! Absolutely no concerns about cleanliness.

Not quite best.

Very friendly staff and go the extra mile to help out. The cleanliness wasn't great. Crumbs in one of the draws and milk stains on the counter but ok. My main issue was the road noise. It woke me up throughout the night and only managed about 4 hrs sleep. They need to at least replace the rubber seals. For this reason, i wouldn't go back. Sorry, Best Western.
