"The breakfast was amazing, everything else Was crap. The rooms were hot, the beds were wrong and there was no airport shuttle. The ladies at check in were very nonchalant about our concerns and if I hadn’t been completely exhausted by travels, we would have left. I do not recommend this hotel."

"Great location and value. Very clean and super accommodating staff, but very few amenities. We asked to move rooms because the halls were very loud, walls were thin. We were moved to another building that took a solid five minute internal walk to get to but it was very quiet. NO amenities for standard room. No fridge or water. No smart tvs. Beds were ok. Kind of stiff but not awful. Overall I'm not sure I would stay again but given the price of most other Edinburgh hotels maybe I would."

"We loved our stay at Haymarket Hotel. We loved the decoration and heritage details. The breakfast room was STUNNING and the food amazing - so much many delicious choices. Great location especially for walkers like us. And easy walk to Princes st. We even walked to Edinburgh Castle and on to Carlton Hill and back to the hotel. Lots of eateries nearby. Highly recommend this hotel."
